Product Introduction

Plastic products can easily wear out, break, get mildew or algae by sun, air or gem and become useless. To prevent from these, all kinds of antioxygen, UV absorbent and plasticizer are added in plastics. However these assistants provide ample nutrition for the growth of microbe. The plastic products used outdoor can easily be corroded by the bacterium, molds and algae. Therefore, sufficient antimicrobial and antimildew agent must be added in plastics for pleasing appearance and longer life.

AP-01 antimicrobial powder is highly efficient by restraining the growth of gram-positive bacterium and gram-negative bacterium in large scale. Its low mobility and high activity leads to superior antimicrobial property in plastics. It maintains proper balance on material compatibility and migration rate to ensure the superb antibacterial property in plastic particles.

Additive Amount

0.3%-0.5% is recommended, depending on the sensibility of plastic products on bacterium and gem, request of antiseptic rate, end use, outdoor weathering condition, and or reproductive condition of other bacterium and gem.

Storage

Store in cool dry indoor and seal, away from direct sunlight, avoiding of cold and frozen environment.

Application Case

1. Antimicrobial PP cling film: Add 0.5% of AP-01 in PP materials (0.5kg/ 100kg mixture);
Antibacterial performance: antibacterial rate up to 99% by ISO22196 Antibacterial Performance Test.
Antimildew performance: up to grade 1 or 0 with long-acting effect.
Reference standard: ISO22196/JISZ2801/QB/T2591/ASTME2180/ASTMG21/
